Join me and my friends Alex Suchman from Barometer XP and Paul Broyles from Paul Boyles Executive Coaching, LLC for a power‑packed half‑day Collaborative Leadership workshop to strengthen leadership skills, build team effectiveness, and drive business outcomes, all while having some fun.

In brief, we use interactive mini‑workshops so participants can explore improv, game-based learning, and LEGO® Serious Play™ to use with their team. Discover how you can take a playful approach to spark engagement, fosters cohesiveness, and unlock team brilliance.

Why This Workshop? The High-Performance Challenge

Simply placing high-performing individuals on a team is not enough to guarantee a high-performing team. In fact, research shows that 75% of cross-functional teams are dysfunctional, underperforming on key metrics like efficiency and innovation.

In order to unlock real performance, leaders must cultivate three specific drivers: Trust, Communication, and Innovative Thinking. Thus, we designed our workshop to use structured play to intentionally develop these behaviors, leading to measurable results:

Trust: Teams with high trust are 3.3x more efficient and 5.1x more likely to produce results.

Communication: Effective communication makes teams 2.8x more efficient.

Innovation: Teams that encourage out-of-the-box thinking are 2.7x more innovative.

Benefits for You and Your Team

1. Equip Leaders with Scalable Tools: So that you leave with practical frameworks and activities you can immediately apply to your next team meeting or project launch.

2. Turn Participation into Purpose: Move your team beyond simple engagement toward clear, shared outcomes.

3. Build a Culture of Connection: Gain credible approaches to foster psychological safety, belonging, and collaborative energy within your organization.

4. Boost Resourcefulness: Learn to see limitations (time, budget, scope) as springboards for innovation rather than barriers.

Key Workshop Topics & Mini-Sessions

This half-day experience is divided into three specialized tracks followed by a practical action-planning session:

IMPROVing Team Engagement (with Chris Whaley): Learn to use the “Yes, and…” principle to validate contributions and expand ideas. In addition, this session focuses on active listening, embracing failure as a path to growth, and building agility under pressure.

Game-Based Learning (with Alex Suchman): Experience how rules, constraints, and ambiguity in games mirror real-world team challenges. You will discover strategies to help groups stay aligned and decisive even when dynamics change rapidly.

LEGO® Serious Play™ (with Paul Boyles): Use 3D modeling to reveal how you think and lead. As a result, participants articulate complex ideas through metaphors, allowing for deeper insights into team identity and problem-solving.

From Ideas to Impact: We conclude with a visioning and action-planning experience. Because people often forget 90% of training within a week, we use neuroscience-backed visualization to create a 3-month success plan you can implement immediately.

Energizing Leaders. Engaging Teams. Serious Results.
